To break the cycle of vulnerability among underserved populations in West Africa through integrated community interventions in global health, inclusive access to education, and the strengthening of local leadership, while relying on evidence-based data and participatory governance.

Why we exist
A woman in a rural West African village can live her whole life an hour's walk from a clinic and never once be offered a cervical screening. A girl who leaves school at twelve almost never returns on her own, because no system records that she is gone. A family that receives a referral often cannot afford to act on it.
None of these are mysteries. The services that would solve them already exist. They are simply scattered, unconnected, and out of reach of the people who need them most.

The crossroad
Our name describes our method. We work at the point where three roads meet, because that is where the same family is standing.
Health
Integrated services for adolescents and women, and mobile screening campaigns that connect directly into district referral systems. One visit delivers immunization, reproductive health, nutrition and menstrual hygiene support, rather than one service and a long walk home.
Education
We find the out-of-school children no one has a list for, and we bring them back. Then we keep them there with retention grants, school kits and school health clubs run by the students themselves.
Social Development
Youth-led digital campaigns, community charters co-signed by traditional and religious leaders, and enrollment of vulnerable families into community health insurance, so a referral is one they can afford to follow.
