The gap

A child who leaves school in a rural community does not appear on any list. No system flags her absence, no one follows up, and by the time anyone notices, she has been out for years and re-entry has become socially and academically difficult.

This is the quietest failure in the sector. Attendance data tells you about the children who are present. It tells you nothing about the ones who are not, and those are the children our mission is about.

Mapping and enumeration of out-of-school youth

We actively map and identify children and adolescent girls who have left school, using digital tools and geographic information systems rather than paper registers. Enumerators work village by village, household by household.

Every child identified is offered a route forward: re-enrollment where the school and the family can make it work, and a structured educational alternative where they cannot. The point of the map is not the map. It is that a named child with a known location can be helped, and an anonymous statistic cannot.

School health education

We create school health clubs that put young people in charge of their own health knowledge and turn them into ambassadors among their peers. Students run the sessions. Our team provides curriculum, accuracy review and materials.

This is where our health and education work meets most directly. A student in a health club is the reason a household hears about a screening campaign.
